Rod Whaley hails from Tillamook County, Oregon. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he received his degree from Florida Atlantic University. His artistic side was put to good use as a Technical Illustrator/Photographer for the Boeing Airplane Company.

He recently spent two years on a project that located him on the Mendocino coast where he enjoyed capturing many of the images in this collection.
